Was at a festival here in New Orleans on Saturday, and I heard PAs playing his music and live bands playing covers. I also heard that there were a couple of second line parades already.

I was living in the UK as a kid when his big national hit Right Place Wrong Time came out, and of course it wasn't on the charts over there. Had to get it via special order from the record store.

Hi all. Off to food shop. re Dr John, I saw him at town hall 2(?) yrs ago. So terrific, duh. Opener was a blind black pianist who joined dr john. Latter held him as the 2 walked offstage at end. Aww. RIP.

Great show! Listening because trying to find some solace as Samantha's not on at this time, but you're doing a great job in being not just a handkerchief but dancing partner. Also best way to hear of worst news: Dr John's death :-(

"Tempos" is an interesting word in Portuguese. Parana is a state in less tropical southern Brasil. (Was there when I lived in Brasil.) Tempos could mean Times. It could mean Weathers. It could mean Musical Speeds (like musical tempo in English). Or any combination of those meanings.
