since I got rushed at end of show and failed to announce all the things happening over the weekend - to reprise and fully inform - tom./Saturday June 15th in addition to WFMU DJ Stashu's Polka Dance Party in Monty Hall there is also in Jersey City - the Ladies of SKYY (a member of whom was on this show 3 weeks ago) at the Mary Bethune Center in Jersey City, NJ. Meanwhile earlier in the day (1pm-330pm) @ Poe Park up in the Bronx (as part of the ongoing New York Music Month) will be the free event Uptown Vinyl Supreme, a DJ Collective, Ana Garcia, DJ Perly and Grandmaster Caz + later that evening across in Brooklyn down by Coney Island will be the Coney Island Comedy Festival at 7pm with Big Daddy Kane as part of the event.+ tomorrow/Saturday evening starting at 9pm at Union Pool in Brooklyn Mr Fine Wine + DJs Becky the Honky Tonk Radio Girl, Mikey Post of the Reigning Sound, Jay Vons, and Classy Chris will be DJing a sixties soul 45 dance party in the back room of Union Pool til late (330am) honoring their late friend and mentor Warren Lee by playing as many of his favorite soul records
