Beats mismatched. New mystic moods. The International Style. Pressed and dressed. Queasy listening. New ways to fail. More is more. Backroom room tones.

Avatar 3:12am Jesse Dorris:

Sleep well, @northguineahills
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13am Scraps:

Omigod laughably lectured. Very very very very very serious hm mm hm mm.
Avatar 3:13am ben abs:

Morning JD.Hope you're settling into the new slot nicely
Avatar 3:14am Jesse Dorris:

Hey Ben! Second time around, let's all find out together.
Avatar 3:14am Jesse Dorris:

I mean Blixa is a lot of things but subtle isn't one of them.
  3:14am old ERIC thee hat:

Fairly well. Winding down. How you doing Jesse?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21am Scraps:

Lots of Papillons out there: Portugal, France, Japan, Oregon....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22am Scraps:

But there’s only one Roches
Avatar 3:28am Jesse Dorris:

I believe that was the French version but I'm not certain.
Avatar 3:28am Jesse Dorris:

No-one built mental illness into harmonies like Roches.
  3:45am David in London:

Morning Jesse and all you jolly Glotals.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:46am Drunken Creep:

sounding great, enjoying the listen
Avatar 3:48am Jesse Dorris:

Morning, David! Welcome aboard!
Avatar 3:48am Jesse Dorris:

Hey thank you kindly, glad it's serving you well :)
Avatar 4:10am Lost Cause:

good call on Dopplereffekt
Avatar 4:11am Jesse Dorris:

Thanks! Love that album so much.
Avatar 4:12am Jesse Dorris:

How was your week?
  4:14am ignatatus666:

That sounded like an engineer was blowing lines on the mixing board
  4:15am ignatatus666:

Great playlist as always
Avatar 4:15am Jesse Dorris:

Hahaha who can say @ignatatus666, who can say for sure
Avatar 4:15am Lost Cause:

@Jesse -it was a blur with a few lucid moments of WordPress coding ;o) We got some serious fires out here in Yolo County, CA going on. I"m glad you're enjoying the fog out there! We could use that
Avatar 4:18am Lost Cause:

@ ignatatus666 - in the 80s some major mixing board manufacturers were actually putting in glass mirrors for uhm, recreational use. That's why a lot of 80's albums sound 'tinny' from too much high EQ - Blow affects the high frequency hearing sensitivity.
  4:19am ignatatus666:

That’s quite creative?
  4:26am ignatatus666:

80s sounds are always looked back upon
Avatar 4:27am Jesse Dorris:

I'll open a window and maybe this bass can send the fog west, @lostcause
Avatar 4:28am Jesse Dorris:

And to think I always figured they made those mixing boards in glass for a touch of continental sophistication! Very efficient.
Avatar 4:34am Lost Cause:

How do you like the new schedule?
Avatar 4:37am Diezel Tea:

Hey JD and folks. Just got power back on in our office. SOrry for the late check in from Yerevan.
Avatar 4:37am Jesse Dorris:

Losing Tuesdays has been a little trickier than losing Mondays so far, but the commute is so much easier that it's worth it, especially when I start travelling again.
Avatar 4:38am Jesse Dorris:

Hey @Diezel! Oh no, glad you're back up and running!
Avatar 4:43am Diezel Tea:

This track is delightful. Standing desk office dance time!! My colleagues by now are 100% convinced I'm on some weird drugs. I'm only only regular prescription stuff and Polyglot, babaay!
  4:45am ignatatus666:

Have you read the back story on Elkhorns Lionfish album?
Avatar 4:45am Jesse Dorris:

Ask your doctor if Polyglot is right for you.
Avatar 4:45am Jesse Dorris:

This whole Otik album is realllllly good.
Avatar 4:46am Jesse Dorris:

@ignatatus666 I have not! Do tell.
  4:46am ignatatus666:

9/10 Colgate users prefer Polyglot
  4:47am ignatatus666:

They basically got high off of lionfish poison then recorded the album
  4:48am ignatatus666:

I thank them for that?
Avatar 4:49am Jesse Dorris:

truly doing the Lord's work
Avatar 4:49am Lost Cause:

I'm still waiting for someone to eat a Tide Pod and write an album!
Avatar 4:51am Lost Cause:

that sounds like a sample from 'Pacific State' on the No Moon track
  4:53am ignatatus666:

I’m definitely playing this show again on the archives
Avatar 4:54am Jesse Dorris:

It's a loon! Sherburne did a great survey of all the many many songs that have sampled that bird on P4K awhile back.
Avatar 5:01am Lost Cause:

sounds like something they would have played at the Front Club in the early 90s
  5:02am ignatatus666:

Q: Jesse was there swag for the marathon? Stickers for polyglot etc.
Avatar 5:02am Sem:

Good morning, Jesse, and hello, the Polyglotist listening brigade.
Avatar 5:04am B/wad:

Goor morning Jesse and Crew.
I'm late to the party, but I brought some good shit!
Avatar 5:06am Diezel Tea:

Dude, you just played something a bit ago with Aidan Baker? I met him and Leah this weekend. We brought Nadja over to play in Yerevan for their first time. I'll have to peep the archive here. This is one of my fave sets of yours so far.
Avatar 5:08am Jesse Dorris:

Hey @B/wad! Just in time!
Avatar 5:09am Jesse Dorris:

@Diezel no shit?? Small world, that's wild. I love that new album he's on. And thanks, it's been a really murky rollercoaster but things seem to be clearing up....
  5:11am Ike:

Really enjoying this. Way off my regular schedule right now but hearing this show live is a nice plus.
Avatar 5:11am B/wad:

@Diezel isn't Polyglot just the best?
5:17am PERSONATOR from Highland Park NJ:

This is a damn good start to my morning thank you for the clarity and ability to create such an effective set
Avatar 5:17am Jesse Dorris:

Hey, Ike! Welcome aboard. And here's just a touch of vocal tech-house to help get the sun up, just a touch.
Avatar 5:18am Jesse Dorris:

Morning @Personator! Happy to be of service!
Avatar 5:24am Jesse Dorris:

@ignatatus666 there was! A CD put together by yours truly of pre-1987 queer musicks.
Avatar 5:24am Jesse Dorris:

@Sem good morning! How are you?
Avatar 5:28am Diezel Tea:

@B/wad we know what's up)) This show is like The Gathering Of The Cognoscenti.
Avatar 5:29am Davee:

Hello there anybody
Avatar 5:30am Davee:

Music is good as always Jesse
Avatar 5:31am Jesse Dorris:

@Davee kind of you to say!
Avatar 5:48am Jesse Dorris:

This Kolsch track is I think maybe the out-and-out prettiest thing he's ever done...with some stiff competition.
Avatar 5:54am Diezel Tea:

Indeed, JD.
Avatar 5:55am Jesse Dorris:

And that's it for me! It's been a pleasure. Thank you for your ears! Until next week....
Avatar 5:55am Lost Cause:

Great show Jesse! Leftfield request but I'd love to hear your favorite 90's Rave single sometime..take care
Avatar 5:56am jdaAndAnoukFromKöln:

nice tunes. good for corrections… :-) have a nice day…
Avatar 5:58am Diezel Tea:

Damn, JD, I love CLay's antics and wackiness but I don't want this set to end! See y'all next week.
  5:59am ignatatus666:

De you folks on the dark side
  5:59am ignatatus666:

Avatar 6:00am Diezel Tea:

De to you too))
