****CLAY: We were camping last weekend in KUTZTOWN PENNSYLVANIA in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. My WFMU t-shirt from Wake made us new friends and it turns out they have called the SHOW with their 5 year old. Their kid AJAX made friends with our son NEO all at a brewery in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Did I say we were in the middle of nowhere. It was nice to have kindred spirits thanks to a WFMU -Tshirt. :-)

I got to see the Placemats on that last tour that lasted two weeks...at Forest Hills. The Hold Steady opened and Craig Finn told an amazing story about being a Replacements fan (growing up in Minnesota) and listening to them constantly one summer while working at a tennis club and a Ramones fan, and playing before the Replacements in a tennis stadium blocks from where the Ramones were from.

I saw the Replacements in Minneapolis in 1986 - they were hammered, first song Paul fell off the stage and sang the next couple from the crowd. They played, left the stage early, most everyone left when the lights came up and they came back out to play another 1/3 of the show. Rock and roll!

If I’m going to have it hot I will be disappointed that I didn’t just make pasta and fresh sauce. It became a guilty pleasure many years ago when I was a chef. I didn’t feel so bad when I’ve learned that many Chefs share in this bizarre pleasure. But you will never get me to eat any other chef boyardee products especially the ravioli

Shea! OH MY GAWD! That one was scary good! Everyone!we've got a comedian in our presence. You and Dale should have the equivalent of a dance off, but with comedy. Well, and a little moonwalking... That guy is also incredibly funny! I love the DEAD. I used to be a huuuge dead head. I smelled of patchouli, work long Indian print skirts, and had the circular Dead Teddy Bear t shirt. Oh and I think I carried flowers around in my hands. Now I carry a loaf of bread around in case someone feels faint and needs some nourishment.
