Haru Raichō Hiratsuka, Yasumochi Yoshiko, Mozume Kazuko, Kiuchi Teiko, and Nakano Hatsuko founded the Japanese Bluestocking Society (青鞜社 Seitō-sha) to promote the equal rights of women through literature and education. The magazine they developed was designed to articulate women’s self-awareness and the gender-based societal limitations they faced, but its promotion of early feminist beliefs through controversial publications caused it to be banned by Japanese kokutai for being “disruptive to society”. As soon as we take her out (on leash) he goes off into another room. Yes, on my toes! Keeping my mind off the fact my daughter is in London for 6 weeks! Nervous dad here.

(but i don't call any of it "experimental". they're not experimenting, in general; they know basically what they're going for. the only experiment is to see how many people care about it.)

They got there late because of snow delays, and the opening noise band (Lubriphikatttor) had to play for close to 40 minutes when they usually stop at 15 or so, until they made it to the venue. They didn't have time for a sound check, yet they blew my mind

They got there late because of snow delays, and the opening noise band (Lubriphikatttor) had to play for close to 40 minutes when they usually stop at 15 or so, until they made it to the venue. They didn't have time for a sound check, yet they blew my mind
