howdy and good time of day or night to anyone tuned in

northguineahills:

I saw Kevin Drumm play at a warehouse in Long Island City where he sat upon an iceberg sculpture w/ dry ice and performed up there. Said sculpture had tunnels to explore and hang out in....
Avatar 12:12am
sv:

that sounds like a gas - more cave/tunnel listening experiences should be available to all imo
  12:14am
nah:

oh i wish i was there for a tunnel exploration live show
  12:15am
rw:

Evening! Where we headed? Iceberg stage / sculpture sounds cool.
Avatar 12:16am
northguineahills:

Now, if Gas (woifgang Voight) was there, it would be a Gas-gas, and then if gus-gus showed up....
Avatar 12:17am
sv:

hello nah and rw (and ngh!) - we're going through the murk to some false sparkle
  12:18am
rw:

I just heard of Gas yesterday. It's on my list of things to check out.

False sparkle.... (in Homer Simpson voice)
  12:20am
rw:

And then if nah and ngh showed up...
Avatar 12:21am
sv:

gas is one of my favorites

  12:33am

  12:36am

Avatar 12:37am
sv:

i'm reluctant to blame any planet for anything for fear of cosmic retribution
  12:40am
rw:

sv, you don't have a falcon do you?
Avatar 12:43am
sv:

ever since my peregrine flew away i haven't had the heart to get another :/
Avatar 12:45am
sv:

who here has owned or owns a bird?
Avatar 12:46am
sv:

a more pertinent question: are any birds listening?
Avatar 12:46am
northguineahills:

Relevant to falconeering, the 1969 British movie, "Kes": www.imdb.com...
Avatar 12:47am
sv:

ah man, that looks right up my alley
  12:48am
nah:

i cannot speak for birds as i am not one myself but i did wear a shirt today that had many many many birds upon it.
also crazy how they have 4 cones in their eyes for colors. thasts one more cone than us. what colors do they know that we do not
Avatar 12:51am
sv:

i love a good animal shirt - i own far too many. i also love for other creatures to outclass me in the color-seeing department.

Here in SoCal it can get really noisey as well
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02am

Avatar 1:03am
sv:

  1:05am
impboy:

I live near a railyard and a UPS facility so just industrial stuff, police sirens, the guy next door playing take-me-to-heaven ambient drones on his guitar, etc.

BTW I don't think I've listened to an Instinct Ambient CD since I was a raver back in the '90s. Man, I miss those days
Avatar 1:09am
sv:

that sounds dreamy
Avatar 1:10am
sv:

if given a chance i would take a time machine directly back to a chillout room in the 90s
