Maureen F. McHugh  Sidewalks   Favoriting I first read "Sidewalks" in Gardener Dozois's 35th Edition of The Year's Best Science Fiction. "Sidewalks" was originally published in the October 2017 issue of Omni. Maureen F. McHugh is one of today's most respected writers. She is winner of the Locus Award for Best First Novel, the James Tiptree Jr. Award, and the Nebula Award. She has also been a finalist for the Hugo Award. You can read her latest story, 'Under the Hill' in the upcoming 70th Anniversary Issue of The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction.
