	10:38pm Dean: I forgive you, doc, for that time in Port Chester, March '70, when you spilled Dr. Pepper on my shirt. I really did see Campilongo, too, at Ivy Room in Albany, CA. I can imagine the disappointment, but I enjoyed him.
	10:39pm Dean: I can top it, Franco. I saw Zubin Mehta conduct the LA Phil at Whittier High School Auditorium.

	10:46pm Dean: I saw Lakshmi Shankar in Long Beach at an Indian cultural festival. I was jeans and t-shirt. Most of the women in the audience were in saris. One attendee sitting near me turned to me and said, "You're the most comfortable person here."

	11:28pm geezerette: I have too, different times and places. There was one in the high desert. It hung on decades past it's time, sort of an outdoor Last Picture Show.
	🦭 ♥ 11:28pm JtotheK: I recently watched 'In A Quiet Place' after reading 'In A Quiet Place.' And then fell asleep watching 'Mildred Pierce' after reading 'Mildred Pierce.' (And now Mildred isn't streaming - augh!) Next up on my to-watch movie list - Gaslight.

	♥ 11:32pm Franco Twinkie: The Edgewood is gone. A Kaiser hospital is there now. The Vineland is still open! The last drive-in in Los Angeles county.
	🦭 ♥ 11:32pm coelacanth∅: i've seen some movies in vehicles, at drive-ins. 101 dalmatians...?...and my friends and i snuck into one a few times when i was a teenager (no vehicle). "the song remains the same" was one, but we got rowdy toward the end and got chased out.

	11:35pm Dean: In the series of official "bootleg" recordings he released near the end of his short life, dubbed Trail, Jimmy LaFave took the photographs for the covers, including long ago abandoned drive-ins. Poignant. RIP, Jimmy.

	11:43pm Dean: Yes and no, geezerette. For one thing, we impose century divisions onto history, which has no respect for these arbitrary breaks. But the problem really explodes in the 21st.
