first time listener to the show: so much fun, Stashu, and thank you for playing a track from one of my albums. i should mention that the singer is former WNYC DJ, David Garland, and the piece is by composer David Mahler. Also, wanted to let y'all know that the family name of the leader of my all-time favorite polka band, since childhood, Kenny Bass, is pronounced like bass, the fish--super-great Cleveland polka band, along with Frankie Yankovic and His Yanks.
