Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:03pm Doug in JC:

Welcome back Paul!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:05pm BLCKDGRD:

That's a segue.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:06pm Doug in JC:

Both of these songs are deeply linked in my brain for terribly sad reasons
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08pm DJ PB:

Same, Doug. But it won't be all downers tonight, I promise!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:09pm Doug in JC:

I know you wouldn't do that to us :)
Avatar 9:16pm On the Yazoo:

I'm outta sausage.. Got to remember to put it on my grocery list.
  9:21pm Chuck:

Well... I think I would like to hear some songs about people who are self-centered and only concerned with their own lives because they have no time for anyone else who doesn't think like them!...yeah!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:22pm Doug in JC:

It may be the political climate, but I feel like I don't want to know what you mean by that
  9:32pm seth from muddy creek:

Damn this Residual Echos is good. Reminds me of Garden Variety.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm Doug in JC:

Maybe a more upbeat garden variety? But yeah, you're right
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm listener 126464:

Thanks Paul, Dislocation Dance alright
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36pm listener 126464:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm DJ PB:

I can set the whole state ablaze, Tommy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm Doug in JC:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm Tommy in Neversink:

Bruno's NJ inferno
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:43pm Tommy in Neversink:

Sounds like FEMA will have to get involved
  9:44pm sufferwords:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49pm coelacanth∅:

  9:49pm Johnzon:

  9:50pm Johnzon:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:54pm coelacanth∅:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00pm coelacanth∅:

somehow silver jews slipped under (or over? -or around?) my radar back in the day and just sort of acquainted as of a couple a years ago (Thanks to wfmu)
good shit...
and then i'm equally impressed by him that he worked against what his shithead father was/is doing.
sad loss in many ways
...too young to give up, in my opinion.
  10:05pm Chuck:

I've always thought that it would be a great idea if you DJs had a floating window of the lyrics going by off in the corner while we were chatting in the chat room!?!...hehehe..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Yeah, for every greaseball like Jeffrey Epstein who goes out that way there are like five good people who we would want to keep.
  10:08pm seth from muddy creek:

Any band with Circus in the name is right by me
  10:11pm Mr. Palchepo.:

Of course it’s THP. Every time I stop what I’m doing to see who it is, it’s them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm coelacanth∅:

Ken i like the way you think.
...and sure hope it's true.
  10:20pm Johnzon:

interesting about his dad coelacanth... reading up on it now. usually when someone dies you're supposed to "keep the love alive" or whatever but I guess in this case the appropriate way to show love for the departed is to keep the hate for his dad alive...
  10:21pm Johnzon:

or the quest for justice maybe would be a better way to put it
  10:22pm seth from muddy creek:

This set is making me think of The Marine Girls ALOT which is good
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22pm coelacanth∅:

the the oilies track reminds me of nice purse
Avatar 10:22pm khd:

yer, enjoying this set, thk u
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm DJ PB:

Thanks for commenting, everyone. And for listening, of course! Much appreciated!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24pm coelacanth∅:

Johnzon that's a bit of a revelation!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm coelacanth∅:

PB i think the pleasure's ours; which hopefully means the pleasure is mutual!
  10:27pm Chuck:

Listening is the most important part!!!
  10:39pm colin:

tonight's playlist is matching my august blues
  10:44pm Chuck:

time is relative unless you forget to announce the call letters!!!...hehehe...
  10:44pm seth from muddy creek:

Class of 1984
Avatar 10:47pm khd:

so that's why that filthy CD was in the mix
  10:47pm Marc15:

Does Dustin know that Susie is out sick?
  10:50pm Jeremy:

if you compress and equalize them digitally to your satisfaction then you shouldn't need the original!?!
Avatar 10:58pm Hoboken Jack:

Hello all! Paul, thanks for being my Yankees postgame show postgame show.
Avatar 11:23pm Hoboken Jack:

I wonder if Exene was secretly thinking "White power!" during recording, kook that she turned out to be.
  11:43pm Nick:

@HJ, that's exactly what I was thinking! (unfortunately)
  11:46pm curtis_chaos_in_la:

Love it when folks finger their own buttholes in public
  11:49pm Nick:

It's not talking shit when it's public knowledge what Exene's political views are now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55pm DJ PB:

Sadly, I think many counter culture types of prior generations to took a mistrust of mainstream institutions and followed it down the InfoWars rabbit hole. It's unfortunate they let themselves be conned when hoping to avoid exactly that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Paul. Looks like your next gig is Saturday. Looking forward to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59pm coelacanth∅:

Thanks PB!
-'till then...
