i was working in a bed and breakfast in college and Donovan stayed there one night while in town for a show. the shower head wasn't working so he called me up to take a look. after i fixed it he gave me a fist bump. first and last fist bump, but worth it.

a lady i cared for some years ago was the first treasurer for the ny mycological society & hung out a bit with the chair, John Cage. she saw many performances of his works performed by David Tudor in new york. she had great stories about that time to share. they had a ball, really.
