Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47am
Doug Schulkind:

For those unfamiliar with Stork, he is a beloved, long-time WFMU legend. He first came into WFMU's orbit in the early 1990s availing himself as a regular volunteer. For many years he hosted a live music broadcast every Sunday evening on WFMU called Live From the Stork Club on which countless historic and memorable performances were the norm. (Of course, almost all of it was pre-internet, so no archives.) A proud son of New Jersey, Stork met a gal visiting from Germany, fell bonkers in love, and moved to Europe with her. That was, what, 15ish years ago?

Bringing Stork back into the moist and warm clutches of the WFMU family is an wonderful thing. The Drummer Stream is pleased as punch to make it happen.
