Such a deep tune!
  9:17pm Chris Farrell:

Hatfield says to McCoy:
How’s are you enjoying the pig roast?
McCoy says: it’s great I love your house, mine’s 3 times as big
Hatfield says: we’ll McCoy that’s nice but I wanted to know how you’re enjoying the pig roast?
McCoy says: oh.. IT’S GREAT. When we roast a pig we roast 3.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24pm melinda:

hi folks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm Sam Segal:

You come down on the side of the Hatfields or the McCoys on that one, Chris?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm Sam Segal:

Melinda! Thanks for being here!
  9:32pm Chris Farrell:

Idk whichever one doesn’t end up in prison.
  9:36pm Chris Farrell:

That interaction was actually based on an event that took at a pig roast I was at.

I thought it’d be funny to turn it into a joke for the chat.
Hope everyone’s horse is treating them nice.
Avatar 9:38pm Franco Twinkie:

Hi Sam! The featured picture reminds me of the time I bought a serious shit load of fireworks from this place called Giftland while driving thru the woods of Arkansas. Even before 9/11 it was not advisable to stuff your suitcase full of explosives, so while in NYC, I built a crate and took them to a post office on the lower east side and sent them home to myself. When I got home they were sitting on my front porch. I immediately opened the box and took a handful to the park next door to my house and fired them off.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm Sam Segal:

Remarkable, Franco! Shipping recreational explosives in the mail was once America's second past time.
Avatar 9:44pm Franco Twinkie:

Yes! And if they turned you down at the post office, UPS would gladly dispatch them for you.
Avatar 9:48pm Franco Twinkie:

I would love to stay home and listen to you, Sam. But guess what? I don't have any milk! So off to the store I go.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:48pm chresti:

Drinking milk while playing punk records is kind of ambivalent
  9:56pm Ike:

Just don’t turn your back on your glass of milk or else your cats might stick their heads into the glass. Unless it’s oatmilk. Presumably cats don’t like that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00pm Sam Segal:

I've been keeping an eye on it. They have pilfered milk from me before, but I refuse to let it happen again. Hello, Ike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:01pm Sam Segal:

I've heard that story before, Franco! Just going to the store to buy a carton of milk...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:05pm melinda:

I've started ordering coffee drinks with oat milk, it surpasses the other fake milks in quality.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm Sam Segal:

Most agree, Melinda. Much better consistency than almond or soy milk. Great mouthfeel.
  10:07pm Chris Farrell:

In 9th grade I went to state for the science fair.

My project was to test protein levels in milk. I secretly hated school but wanted glory. I faked the experiment and just used the labels on the back of the milk to record the protein levels.
It ended up being only the first round of the state competition and did not advance to the qualifying round.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:11pm coelacanth∅:

greetings Sam and all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:12pm melinda:

@Sam I usually drink coffee black if I'm not doing dairy, but a friend was raving about oat milk, and then I read an article about a guy who brought oat milk to the fore by selling coffee shops on its superior foaming ability so I tried it in a capucccino and was really impressed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:12pm coelacanth∅:

i want that pick-up
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:13pm Sam Segal:

You gamed the system, Chris...for awhile anyway. I say that deserves some glory! Bask in it now. Take a bow!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:13pm Sam Segal:

Welcome, Coel!
  10:16pm Chris Farrell:

Yeah the monolith has no room for those who self-serve.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:29pm chresti:

I have mochas made with oatmilk at a place I stop at on my way to work, it's good because they don't use chocolate syrup, so it's not too sweet
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm chresti:

Then there's the pea milk..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:34pm melinda:

@chresti sounds delicious. Pea milk is grody.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36pm melinda:

It probably won't take off as a coffeehouse milk substitute because people would have to ask for "pee milk".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm melinda:

Love Candy Jail.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:48pm coelacanth∅:

i will try oat milk.
even though my usual cafe probably charges extra for it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:50pm melinda:

I find it's worth the extra 40 cents my usual place charges.
  10:50pm asheville jon:

Evening everyone.
Damn, silver jews followed by waylon, fantastic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:51pm Sam Segal:

Couldn't resist playing some more DCB. He's still on my mind every day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00pm chresti:

The pea mlk tastes ok, a fine silt tends to settle on the bottom of the cup, tho
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05pm melinda:

@Sam I like hearing him again
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09pm doctorjazz:

Hey Horsemen and Horsewomen!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10pm Sam Segal:

Howdy, Horse Doctor!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12pm coelacanth∅:

melinda, for sure, if i like it it's worth it. i hardly consume any dairy foods and i'd like to consume none. and i usually drink tea (with just honey) so that extra they'll charge will be only about once/week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:19pm Sam Segal:

The David Berman article I was talking about: www.nashvillescene.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:19pm melinda:
