Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm
PGB:

Oh yeah! I've been savin' up, and now it's time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22pm
PGB:

This show is about expectations. Would it be wrong of me to tell you to expect another cover song sometime in the rest of the show?
Avatar 3:23pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Hullo host - fred! - peoples.
I could almost hear that was Robin Trower...
Avatar 3:25pm
Mailman Tom:

Jeff Moore:

Wow, this Carter/Grammer song tickles some neurons.

I remember attending the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival right after Dave Carter died; it kind of turned into to a memorial service for him.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm
PGB:

Fun to be back behind the console!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm
PGB:

I picked my fav from The Mirror. There are more, folks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:33pm

"Neuron Tickler" will be the title of my next show. Thanks, Jeff!

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...better than Billy Joel but no clickystar :p ...
Avatar 3:37pm
Jeff Moore:

Just so a Neuron Tickler is a good thing, not something terrible like a neuronic whip.

[Asimov?]
Avatar 3:38pm
Jeff Moore:

It sounds like it could be a torture device or a sex toy.

Ain't THAT always the way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm
PGB:

The meaning of that title will probably depend entirely what image I choose to go with it. Hmmmm.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Yay, a stick shift person! Fight the power!
  3:45pm
Chuck:

it's too hard to eat a hamburger with a manual stick shift!
Avatar 3:45pm

I only drive manual transmissions ( a rarity for Americans)
  3:46pm
The Butterman:

I’m flabbergasted. Been listening to this f’in station since 2001 and I’ve NEVER heard of this PGR fella. How is that possible?
Avatar 3:46pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

W/ a neuron tickler - manual implies whole new expectations...
  3:49pm
The Butterman:

PGR
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm
PGB:

I was at the NY Auto Show years ago looking at a certain brand of "sport sedan." Automatic only. I walked up to the company rep to tell him that a sport sedan should have a manual. Before I could, some other attendee jumped in front of me and yelled "Why can't I get a manual in this?"
  3:50pm
The Butterman:

PGB I mean.
Avatar 3:53pm
Jeff Moore:

Somehow I think Fiveash would enjoy knowing that the discussion was turning to anal intrusion just as The Piggies were playing.
  3:53pm
Chuck:

They never broke up in my mind... nice mashup PGB!!!
Avatar 3:54pm
northguineahills:

When I bought my current car, I was living in a city w/ 1.5 M people, and still had to go 75 miles/120 km just to find a decent manual transmission car.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm
PGB:

"Honest, Matt. I had nothing to do with that!"
Avatar 3:56pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

John @ one point did say if ya wanna know what The Beatles would sound like now - just play all our records together. So there you go.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm

  4:01pm
Chuck:

Hehehe...timeless!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03pm
PGB:

@dale: You nailed it! The Filmusic "album" was actually Dave Savadge's demo tape for writing TV music themes. He already had some gigs writing music for NYC TV shows, but was on his way to Hollywood.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:06pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Hey, that's good polka!
  4:08pm

  4:17pm
Chuck:

last night Gina said the Flaming O used to be a diner right down the street from the station???
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm
PGB:

Sounds like a re-parsing of "The Flamingo."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm
PGB:

It was on the corner of Montgomery and Greene. It's now called the City Diner.
  4:22pm
