	4:33am Diezel Tea: Tbilisi is a weird place for electronic music, though. It's still kinda an insiders club as to who can perform from the local roster. But at the ame time, if someone shows up from abroad they can do whatever they want and the scene fawns over it. Last time I was at Bassiani it was a team from Germany doing theatrical industrial techno, like walls of noise and stuff, and while no one could dance to it the hall was still packed. But if it was a group from Baku or Sochi or Yerevan doing the same thing it'd be dismissed. Even though my stuff is rather up the alley for dark techno likings in Tbilisi the insiders club won't welcome a performance from a dude who doesn't live there but is close by. However, as a DJ from NYC you could come to Tbilisi/Baku and have night after night lined up. Even in Yerevan they'd have a quasi-festival night for a US DJ playing outsiderish-electronic music.
