Hi Dave, GST and Jan, hope your Sunday is a relaxing one... keeping this sound/vibe for a bit here, feels great with coffee and looking out the window, watching people walking about.

nothing to do now but clicky-star this episode!

Martinibomb:

I enjoy doing the no-prep makes you play stuff you might not and then go oh my gaaaaawd why did I play that horrible song. Then you just quickly cross-fade another song, a better song and don't bother putting the first horrible song you played into the playlist. Only the good stuff stays.
  3:42pm
Martinibomb:

Time is an illusion. Squirrels don't care about how much time they have left. Neither does my Cat.

I'm still going to be on time though. ;-D

No prep is fun. Last night I was thinking of starting out with Iron Maiden into Anton Maiden, oh how things change.
Avatar 3:44pm
Otis Fodder:

That's it, woke up and clocked in. Just had my window DJ for the first 1/2 hour. ;)
  3:46pm
Martinibomb:

The Window DJ is awesome. At Freeform I'd hang the other mic out and use that street sound for bed audio. It totally works
Avatar 3:59pm

I woke up 15min before my show started. More like 5min as that's when I booted up the computer while the window DJ'ed for the first 30... I made coffee and picked up a few records, still picking.
  4:07pm
Martinibomb:

What's up with you sleepy heads?! I got up at 5am.
Avatar 4:08pm
spacebrother:

I really have to try the window DJ method.

We have a joke amongst paraglider pilots - the wing seems to fly itself better when the pilot is not involved.

Good morning, Otis, and hello all! I missed the Montreal street sounds of Window DJ, will that be in the archive?
Avatar 4:09pm
spacebrother:

@MB - maybe I'll start going to sleep earlier in a few years.
Avatar 4:10pm

Oh yes, Kat. First 30min of window sounds and I fed the cat as well in the background.

Here too, trying to get back to a day person... taking on too many contracts lately with work, a good thing, but my internal clock is haywire.
Avatar 4:11pm

I woke up 30 minutes before an online meeting this morning and had to write up the agenda from scratch. It worked out fine.
Avatar 4:11pm
Otis Fodder:

Totally, as long as we wake up before, we can wing it. With wing playing too! :)

Kat in Chicago:

I quit my job a month ago now and am struggling not to return to my old semi-nocturnal habits, as I assume I'll be commuting to another day thing before too long. Much as I'd like to creatively conjure a way to avoid that. So I set my alarm for my old wakeup time, and then turn it off, haha.
Avatar 4:15pm
Otis Fodder:

I know you played Wing SB... oh yea!
Avatar 4:17pm
Otis Fodder:

I stopped feeling bad a few years back about being a night owl (I did for many years) and now just long to be a day person again, but I always slide back. Love the night, but also get a really good feeling about waking at 5-6am and accomplishing so much before Noon. All relative, right? Am I sane here?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm
Kat in Chicago:

Of course you are :) I've belatedly discovered I enjoy mornings when I'm not stuck in an office! Sunny ones, anyway.
