I cannot help but stop and look at the little maynard.
Never forget the big and trivial maynard.
How happy is the old selena!
Now past is just the thing,
To get me wondering if the selena is retired.
Just like a crushed alarcon, is the marquez.
Never forget the younger and undersize marquez.
Refresh until you're happy with your poem.

One afternoon I said to myself,
"Why isn't the bennett more ugly?"
A bennett is delicious. a bennett is dishy,
a bennett is exquisite, however.
I saw the the sec spaceman of my generation destroyed,
How I mourned the armstrong.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the armstrong,
Gently it goes - the unsweet, the second, the dry.

And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound's the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.

Life is not a dream. Careful! Careful! Careful!
We fall down the stairs in order to eat the moist earth
or we climb to the knife edge of the snow with the voices of the dead
dahlias.
But forgetfulness does not exist, dreams do not exist;
flesh exists. Kisses tie our mouths
in a thicket of new veins,
and whoever his pain pains will feel that pain forever
and whoever is afraid of death will carry it on his shoulders.

One day
the horses will live in the saloons

Billy: Man, everybody got chicken, that’s what happened. Hey, we can’t even get into like, a second-rate hotel, I mean, a second-rate motel, you dig? They think we’re gonna cut their throat or somethin’. They’re scared, man.

George Hanson: They’re not scared of you. They’re scared of what you represent to ’em.

Billy: Hey, man. All we represent to them, man, is somebody who needs a haircut.

George Hanson: Oh, no. What you represent to them is freedom.

Billy: What the hell is wrong with freedom? That’s what it’s all about.

George Hanson: Oh, yeah, that’s right. That’s what’s it’s all about, all right. But talkin’ about it and bein’ it, that’s two different things. I mean, it’s real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace. Of course, don’t ever tell anybody that they’re not free, ’cause then they’re gonna get real busy killin’ and maimin’ to prove to you that they are. Oh, yeah, they’re gonna talk to you, and talk to you, and talk to you about individual freedom. But they see a free individual, it’s gonna scare ’em.

Billy: Well, it don’t make ’em runnin’ scared.

George Hanson: No, it makes ’em dangerous.

this was my scenerio - fake plastic trees played in the background- summer afternoon pool party with high school friends - laughing without a care inthe world- midnight would arrive with stories of broken homes and overwhelming sadness- without noticing time went flashing by - today my friends are gone - they are physically still here - but they have changed - they are ghosts - the laughter has gone- they are changed -middle aged- time has its price

A distinct characteristic of society is that it reacts quickly and often violently against anyone or anything that it perceives as a threat. Makes one think that we’re the slaves of our own creation.

Sri Swami Satchidananda opened the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival in Bethel, New York on August 15, addressing a crowd of approximately 500,000.

My Beloved Brothers and Sisters:

I am overwhelmed with joy to see the entire youth of America gathered here in the name of the fine art of music. In fact, through the music, we can work wonders. Music is a celestial sound and it is the sound that controls the whole universe, not atomic vibrations. Sound energy, sound power, is much, much greater than any other power in this world. And, one thing I would very much wish you all to remember is that with sound, we can make—and at the same time, break. Even in the war-field, to make the tender heart an animal, sound is used. Without that war band, that terrific sound, man will not become animal to kill his own brethren. So, that proves that you can break with sound, and if we care, we can make also.

So I am very happy to see that we are all here gathered to create some sounds—to find that peace and joy through the celestial music. And I am really very much honored
