The Horse Has A Tough Act To Follow
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:02pm Sam Segal:

At least I'm used to that, Fleep!
Avatar 9:08pm Franco Twinkie:

Smells good in here, what are you cooking?
  9:09pm CC:

A wink is as good as a nod to a blind horse!!!...hehehe...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10pm Sam Segal:

A proggy stew, Franco!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm Sam Segal:

Well, in that case, CC, all I can say is, " ;-) "
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm chresti:

Hi local horses of the world!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm Sam Segal:

Think locally, act horse-fully, Chresti!
  9:13pm CC:

Just in case I've never mentioned it...I've always thought Peter and Phil's voices blended so well together!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15pm Sam Segal:

Very true, CC...perhaps one of the reasons post-Peter Genesis doesn't do it for me as much.
Avatar 9:18pm Franco Twinkie:

Once a friend and I were driving around while blazing on acid, and over the radio came a news item that Jack-In-The-Box was in deep shit because it had been discovered that they were using horse meat in their hamburgers. We just looked at each other and said "Did you hear that?" at the same time.
  9:18pm CC:

Tower of Power was real similar to Earth Wind & Fire...
  9:20pm CC:

Franco I remember story like that about how Rod Stewart had to get his stomach pumped!!!hahaha...
Avatar 9:21pm Franco Twinkie:

Rod ate the tainted burgers?
  9:22pm CC:

they both did terrific!!!
  9:23pm CC:

Franco they may have been offering hot dogs at the time???

Franco your current avatar takes a few minutes to fully absorb, and we own the same multicolor feather duster.
Avatar 9:26pm Franco Twinkie:

Fleep, It's my new look for Fall.
  9:27pm CC:

Peter really did make a difference!!!...:)
Avatar 9:43pm northguineahills:

Nice Chants....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44pm Sam Segal:

Nice to see YOU, NGH!
Avatar 9:48pm northguineahills:

How many bands/artists named (just) Joe are out there?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49pm Sam Segal:

43, according to Discogs!
  9:52pm Chris Farrell:

Really speaks to the working man.. ya know “get centered” “Joe” I like it. It’s fetch.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm Sam Segal:

White bread and Marlboros, Chris!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14pm coelacanth∅:

hey Sam and horse-people
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:16pm Sam Segal:

Coel! Nice avatar. Not sure I've seen this one yet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:21pm coelacanth∅:

had it for a minute but i feel like i haven't been home on a monday night in a while
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22pm coelacanth∅:

i like the ... cranes?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24pm Sam Segal:

American Egrets, technically!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm coelacanth∅:

works for me
  10:40pm Chris Farrell:

My mind was just blown.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41pm Sam Segal:

Was it something I said, Chris?
Avatar 10:43pm northguineahills:

Make American Egrets again!

(tons of egrets down here)
  10:43pm Dean:

I was especially taken with the Jenny Hval. Reminded me of Hollie Cook's reggae infusions, slightly techno-fied.
  10:43pm Chris Farrell:

I’m an accounting major and I could see a world where I’m dyslexic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm Sam Segal:

Her new album is superb, Dean.
  10:48pm Dean:

Dyslexic? Make America Grate Again!
Avatar 10:48pm Franco Twinkie:

Boiling rice, mmm! But lacking that, oatmeal for dinner followed by a hand full of pills is the way to go on Monday night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52pm Sam Segal:

I had some microwavable instant rice tonight. Truly awful! Oatmeal woulda been a better way to go.
Avatar 10:53pm Franco Twinkie:

I had a Mexican Coke and two slices of pizza for lunch. Good while I was eating it, but ultimately a mistake I now realize.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:55pm coelacanth∅:

i had an excellent burrito for lunch (3 dates and a handfull of pills for breakfast)
"meatless monday" -$5.00 for a filling, delicious meal. they have good coffee too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57pm coelacanth∅:

Franco we too had the big book of indians when i was little
Avatar 10:58pm Franco Twinkie:

If I would have had a burrito for lunch I could have avoided the sugar/carb crash and accompanied bad mood.
  11:05pm Dean:

I had leftover meatballs and sausage in a sweet red sauce with rigatoni, i.e., meat and carb overkill. Fortunately, the cafe at the school where I work does a really marvelous hummus plate that I order pretty frequently.
  11:05pm Chris Farrell:

I had a pastrami sandwich for lunch. I put pesto on it which was new for me but pesto strikes me as something I could make a large amount of in comparison to the amount/price ratio HyVee offered. I feel the same way about kombucha
  11:06pm Dean:

Pastrami and pesto sounds pretty f-ing marvelous.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:06pm chresti:

Nice soothing sounds for bedtime...yada yada yada work yada yada early..
Thanks Sam! Goodnight evryone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:07pm Sam Segal:

Night, Chresti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09pm coelacanth∅:

yada yada chresti yada yada
Avatar 11:11pm Franco Twinkie:

I am feeling the curative properties of hot oatmeal, or is it the CBD drops in cold seltzer? Hmmm.
  11:11pm Chris Farrell:

Night everyone.. till next time.
Avatar 11:12pm Franco Twinkie:

Pastrami and pesto! I will investigate.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:13pm Sam Segal:

Thanks for hanging out, Chris!
  11:14pm Dean:

Just now crumbling bleu cheese to add to the mashed Yukon Golds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14pm coelacanth∅:

gnight Chris

...oatmeal is super good for you
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:15pm coelacanth∅:

(...unless it's instant oatmeal with stuff added, in which case it's empty calories)
Avatar 11:15pm Franco Twinkie:

Dean, that sound's great!
  11:15pm Chris Farrell:

I love the support I find here. The music also has “antiquity”
Avatar 11:17pm Franco Twinkie:

Yukons have a sweetness that the tang of blue cheese would complement nicely.
  11:23pm Dean:

Along with butter and half and half and salt and scallions except I don't have scallions...
Avatar 11:26pm Franco Twinkie:

This conversation is so uplifting. Makes me forget my pain....sort of.
Avatar 11:32pm northguineahills:

can't cook here, the food at my brother's so bland and ordinary...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:36pm coelacanth∅:

this sirom album is awesome!
(i can't afford it though)
Avatar 11:38pm Franco Twinkie:

While not a blossom, I was just thinking how nice roasted fiddle heads on a bed of spaeztzle would be.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43pm coelacanth∅:

i must find out which fiddleheads are good to eat and which are not. i see them fairly often.
Avatar 11:46pm Franco Twinkie:

There you go, Coel. We really don't have those here. But you,on the other hand...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:51pm coelacanth∅:

you don't have ferns?
Avatar 11:53pm Franco Twinkie:

Not wild ferns. It's more of a Northern forest thing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55pm coelacanth∅:

ohh, northern. so both eastern and western, just not southern.

-well that compels me further then. if it's a gift not everyone has given them i shouldn't waste it.
Avatar 11:57pm Franco Twinkie:

Yeah, It's not damp and shady enough in southern California.
Avatar 11:58pm Franco Twinkie:

But we do have edible cactus.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59pm coelacanth∅:

you know we don't!
Avatar 12:00am Franco Twinkie:

This show smoothed me out, Sam. Thank you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00am coelacanth∅:

Thanks Sam! take care everyone
