Tennessee Ernie Ford looks like Wilbert Harrison. There!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm ultradamno:

No talk of David Allan Coe's more troubling material in their discussion of race issues, I noticed.
  7:25pm BH:

Spoiler Alert: "If The South Woulda Won" by Hank Jr doesn't come up during the Ken Burns documentary. The cover for that single is.. yeah. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_the_South_Woulda_Won
  7:25pm Dan from Delco:

At our annual family reunion my Uncle John will always bust out ‘16 tons’ when it’s music night.
  7:26pm BH:

somehow the cover for that single looks like a Big Dog t-shirt design and I'm not sure that company existed in 1988

Here it is. www.pbs.org...

The Wanda Jackson album Third Man put out had a sound chip in it like a greeting card so when you open the gatefold sleeve a song clip plays.

Lil' Brenda Lee : upload.wikimedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm ultradamno:

I remember when Rachel Sweet came out she got Brenda Lee comparisons for being a small redhead with a surprisingly big voice. The earliest clips of Brenda in the show are startling in the disparity of the visual and the sound.

Great Show Guys,
Deke Dickerson had this to say about Jack Whites' Do.
"I hate to pick on hairstyles, but...most celebrities pay their hair stylists a LOT of money--if Jack White is paying someone ANY amount of money, he should fire them. I think Jack White is probably a cool guy and I thought he had some good comments about Loretta, but when you are filmed for a Ken Burns documentary wearing Ed Grimley's hairdo, it makes you question everything that comes out of his mouth."
  7:56pm BH:

Jack White tried, but he couldn't approach Marty Stuart for having ridiculous hair.

Becky, we need to claim that Charlie Rich is black to get him on our upcoming show somehow!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16pm Becky:

Behind closed doors Charlie Rich was really a wonderful human being...
  8:24pm one good eye:

I loved Charlie’s orchestra leader. Couldn’t they follow the basic song he was playing?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm ultradamno:

One of my favorite things altogether about the Ken Burns doc was how much, I think it was Billy Sherrill, really got into describing George Jones' "beady-eyed" opossum features.
  8:28pm Chuck:

Uhhh huh!!!
