evening everyone - for the next 3 hours, music from the 80s slowed waaay down for your enjoyment, impaired or otherwise. wish me luck, and chime in with where you're listening from and what you're doing if you're around <3

i'm cheating a wee bit with ambient bits from the 80s, but nothing will be played at regular speed tonight, i swear it
  12:16am
RomanDogBird:

really digging this slower orion, sv
Avatar 12:16am
sv:

thanks romandogbird - i loooooove the way the harmonized guitar leads sound slowed down
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27am

I had an old turntable that would either play full-slow about 30rpm or full fast about 36. If you set the pitch control anywhere in the middle ir would randomly vary between the two. Any of the options sounded weird.

i've had a tapedeck or two act similarly - always kinda enjoyed it tbh

this one is cool too, i think
  12:42am
old ERIC thee hat:

It is beautiful. It also was my first show in ATL.
  12:44am
old ERIC thee hat:

Sound was a bit muddy, coulda just been my seat. Also weird feedback on Bryan’s vocals a few times. Which was unnerving.

good luck subsisting solo, diezel - i believe in you
Avatar 1:38am
sv:

hey diciassette ! just swtiched over to my laptop which, after being dead for a few days, decided that it was going to pan everything being played on it to the hard left. Annoying bug that sometimes happens with my device, but at least it's gone now
Avatar 1:54am
sv:

the whole show was supposed to be on the laptop but tech issues prevented that from happening, so what you've heard tonight is honestly not what the show was supposed to be, but hey, hopefully it ain't been too painful

Actually enjoying the slowed down music
Driving taxi up in Peekskill NY
Border town with the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant
Listening via the app on my IPhone into my Taxi
Listeners never complain about FMU sometimes they inquire what type of music that’s playing.

MasterofPuberty:

I'm with ya, ignatatus. Sounds awesome. I was doing census work up there recently and came across a wonderful property. Big & green. Art studio to the left, old converted barn separate from house. Door open. Some great modern-traditional arabic fusion reeling out of the big speakers from the far end, wall of records. Turns out FMU.
