VikkiV did you see the message I sent ? think I asked if you saw giuda play
Avatar 8:16pm Mailman Tom:

One headstone read: Born in 1693 Died in 1774
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm DJVikkiV:

Wow! I was just telling a story about a graveyard ,e and some neighborhood kids found in the middle of the Georgia woods in the 70s that had headstones dating around then too- no one knew about it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:19pm DJVikkiV:

I was a bad kid and stole some of the headstones and put them in some mailboxes and got caught lol
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:21pm DJVikkiV:

Cryptdigger! No I didn't see them play :-( Was so mad.. I had to work until after midnight that night !
Avatar 8:21pm Mailman Tom:

And what was your punishment for this act?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:22pm DJVikkiV:

I listened to them all day too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:22pm coelacanth∅:

wow, cool Tom.
there's a graveyard (not a cemetery) in union nj in the middle of an industrial complex -between car dealerships and factories and shit that is on a hill - only the hill's sides were all cut away so now it's more like a plateau with a dilapidated iron fence around it. plants taking over and a lot of broken headstones.
i took some etchings years ago but i don't know what happened to them.
Avatar 8:24pm Mailman Tom:

There was actually a Revolutionary War battle that took place in my town. It was called the Battle of the Rocks. The British won the battle!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25pm coelacanth∅:

...and there's a tiny graveyard right across the street from where i sit (in my sister's house) i think it also goes back that far. have to explore more.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm coelacanth∅:

Tom are you in connecticut?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm DJVikkiV:

My dad made us take him there so he could see it and also put the headstones back... It was all overgrown! I think I was grounded , no allowance or Monkees lol. They later built on the land and I think now its also in the middle of an industrial complex parking lot- kinda like coelacanthe's graveyard! Super cool we have similar stories
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm coelacanth∅:

Vikki they paved around it?
  8:28pm crypt digger:

VikkiV oh that's sad I saw the show in Jacksonville I'll lie and say it was bad & you said hard hah !
Avatar 8:30pm Mailman Tom:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:31pm DJVikkiV:

Avatar 8:32pm Mailman Tom:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:33pm coelacanth∅:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:35pm DJVikkiV:

Yeah its does Tom!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm DJVikkiV:

My house/neighborhood is built on top of the site of the bloodiest battle of the Civil War-- you can feel it too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm coelacanth∅:

damn, Vikki. that's intense.
could be inspiring; and unnerving.
...chickamauga?
Avatar 8:43pm Mailman Tom:

Which battle, Vikki?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm coelacanth∅:

(wikipedia says gettysburg was the most casualties -by quite a large margin; then chickmauga)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm DJVikkiV:

This was the Battle of Atlanta obviously! I guess Gettysburg prob was but Atlanta is up there! The Worst of it was centered a couple blocks away
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm DJVikkiV:

It makes for a weird vide for sure- you can hear it in the wind
Avatar 8:56pm Mailman Tom:
