Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

Hello, David, Ruth, the OAR phalanx, and Ridgewoodians nearby and far-flung.

Listening down at the cooper's, getting fitted for a barrel internment rather than a casket. Actually listening from inside the barrel which, when the time comes, will be filled with me and 151 over-proof rum. Long story, family fabled for getting pickled.

ha geez, and more to come on this one! Stanley, that was me but I rang and ran. Sem, you are always in the right place.

Hello David, Ruth and listeners.
I saw a great dance piece a few weeks ago, with bell music by Charlemagne Palestine (I think it was commissioned for the show)

Stanley:

Nice one Sem. I fancy being smoked.

@David: Yeah. There was a huge one on stage, but it remained silent
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm
Sem:

Hiya, g. Yeah, composting was a close second. Third, really, after rum embalming, and mellification.

There is series of conferences on sheng and related instruments at work. Not that I have the time to attend, but it's nice to know it happens
