Favoriting October 22, 2019: MESSER CHUPS Return! (Live Set)
Messer Chups return to Morricone Island half way through their U.S./Mexico "Halloween Howling 2019" tour to unleash a coffin full of action-packed b-movie, exploitation, horror, sci-fi re-workings of soundtrack favorites live in the WFMU Studios in promotion of their 20-year career-spanning "Spook-A-Rama: The Best Of Messer Chups" compilation to be released on Halloween by their U.S.-based label MuSick Recordings. "Spook-A-Rama" is 26 tracks from the Russian surf trio's 1999 inception to the present with a couple new tracks to boot, including a ripping rendition of Charles Bernstein's "A Nightmare On Elm Street!"
