Oh. It just occurred to me that you may be talking about a four legged friend. THAT was a picture!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm
Jan Turkenburg:

It's so funny because, I had actually planned to mention that in my first words on the chat before I heard what the show was about. He is getting very old and it's the first time he does that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm
Rich in Washington:

No worries, Jan! I was just thinking, we've all had some pretty crazy parties.
Avatar 3:43pm

Jan, is he drinking a lot of water also?
that could be a kidney ailment to look into
Avatar 3:44pm

if he eats dry cat food, kidney illness is more than likely.

Yes I know all about it, Linda He's not my first cat. He has been drinking and peeing a lot on and off for over half a year now. I'm in contact with my vet about it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48pm
Jan Turkenburg:

And there's the Dies Irae theme again!
Avatar 3:49pm
northguineahills:

Veni Sancte Spiritus is one of the few early medieveal Sequences still used in RC masses and other denominations, though to used even early (this is Morricone's version).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm

nice counterpoint there Enio ;)

Rich, Olive Oil is as important as Salt. Go go man!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm

The Dies Irae theme is medieveal too. I mean Morricone mixes them nicely.

northguineahills:

(thought to be used even earlier then the early medieval period)

so many of them succumb to kidney illness. it's very sad, because it's basically preventable, to a point. the issue seems to be diet.

@Linda, Yes, that's true. Karel has been on special diet food for most of his life. He's already the oldest cat I ever had, past 18 now... Always been a strong cat. I hoped this would be my first cat to reach over 20 years... fingers crossed...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:09pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I lost my other cat this spring as well, just 5 weeks after my old little dachshund. It was 18 years ago, Wilma's idea... within a few months we suddenly had three dogs and two cats, a whole family. We had to give one dog away to a better home for him, but the 6 of us were a family for about 14 years. Karel and I are the surviving couple ... :-(
