Well, when we were in high school my sister had a friend who's dad saved Rod's life in a combat situation. They got Christmas cards from Rod every year! This friend of my sisters was drop dead gorgeous and she taught me to drive a stick in her 1965 Mustang.

Danny, they had these machines at The Pike in Long Beach - a sleazy seaside amusement park. Remember they story about my neighbor who saw The Flying Burrito Brothers in her high school gym? Well her younger brother broke one of those devil fortune teller machines by sticking a fork into it while their family was having dinner at The Pike.

'guy meets woman, takes her there, everything goes well, fortune cookies come and his says you are going to die. he freaks and gets inconsolably angry. this does not impress the lady who doesn't believe that the cookies never lie, so she leaves. he goes walking then decides to go back for another meal and see what the cookie will say. he can't seem to eat enough; orders item after item and still feels hungry. finally gives up and asks for the check (& fortune cookie) fortune cookie says "you're dead".

Well, when we were in high school my sister had a friend who's dad saved Rod's life in a combat situation. They got Christmas cards from Rod every year! This friend of my sisters was drop dead gorgeous and she taught me to drive a stick in her 1965 Mustang.

	11:16pm coelacanth∅: i only remember a few episodes, but one was a person having dreams of a plane getting closer and closer to the house, as a plane was in fact flying over the house every night. closer and closer until one night she (?) dreamt the plane crashed into the house and the next night insisted the family sleep in a different room, and... i had real fears about that happening for a long time after that.

	11:30pm northguineahills: Thanks, LD, took, the nieces out trick-or-treating. Had fun, had Doug's stream running the whole time, even though my sis-in-law went to the 9s w/ the decorations.... (she was a witch w/ a crap load of multiple fog machines.... (headstones, speakers (that I wired w/ sounds) and child friendly inflatables)

	11:31pm Franco Twinkie: The episode that really gave me the creeps was the one where William Shatner was obsessed with the fortune teller machine at a table in a cafe, that had the head of Satan on the appliance. Danny, they had these machines at The Pike in Long Beach - a sleazy seaside amusement park. Remember they story about my neighbor who saw The Flying Burrito Brothers in her high school gym? Well her younger brother broke one of those devil fortune teller machines by sticking a fork into it while their family was having dinner at The Pike.

	11:42pm coelacanth∅: another and maybe my favorite twilight zone episode is the dude loves this chinese restaurant and the fortune cookie's always true, or comes true. 'guy meets woman, takes her there, everything goes well, fortune cookies come and his says you are going to die. he freaks and gets inconsolably angry. this does not impress the lady who doesn't believe that the cookies never lie, so she leaves. he goes walking then decides to go back for another meal and see what the cookie will say. he can't seem to eat enough; orders item after item and still feels hungry. finally gives up and asks for the check (& fortune cookie) fortune cookie says "you're dead".
