fred, over the past two years I've had a pair of boots and a pair of shoes made by a cobbler here. I am led to believe that cowboy boots are horse-riding gear, and are not really meant for walking. But I know you wear yours everywhere...

I was at a show, so I missed the trick-or-treaters (misleading name, they'd be pissed if they got a trick). But my neighbors went all it with decoration, I was surprised when I got home. No pumpkin, but dead leaves and fake cobwebs and other things on the landing

Bon giorno, Dougsie, and all! I had an amazing lemon francese filet of sole yesterday from a small Italian place by my house--run by two brothers from Rome who really care about their food. Had angel hair with marinara (SO good) and these special potoatoes--a really good meal.
