  11:18pm
Rick A.:

Former Small Faces pianist Ian McLagan also played in The Empty Hearts. Sadly, he is not listening because he died five years ago.

**still bitter about failing on the Boaty Weekender
  11:23pm
Rick A.:

McLagan married Keith Moon's estranged ex-wife a month after Moon died. She and her daughter moved in with McLagan who has lived in Austin, TX. However, more sadness, she died near their home in a car accident in 2006, too much death in this story!
  11:26pm
Rick A.:

I should have said that McLagan had been living in Austin where he died of a stroke at the age of 69.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:27pm
efd:

wow, yeah, sad story all the way around. :(

the silver lining here is that I did not forget any (current) members of the Empty Hearts....
Avatar 11:28pm
Joe B:

re McLagen's wife dying in that crash -- I had a phone interview scheduled with him, and emailed his publicist saying I understand about canceling, and she wrote back, no no, he wants to do it. was pretty awkward from my end but Mac seemed to be handling it better than me.
Avatar 11:30pm
Joe B:

also, two great segues in this set!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31pm
Kat in Chicago:

This is an ABBA song I always forget about but it's pretty great. This copy sounds well-loved ;-)
