Yeah, plenty of shows these days. December looks quieter, and a big transit strike will not help

Same here, fred. Busy busy, then quiet quiet. No strikes but crazy weather to mess with us.

Speaking of Cecil Taylor, I was supposed to see him perform with Amiri Baraka years ago. But they had an argument before the show (a loud one, I've been told) and they performed separately

fred, this sounds like a scenario I can believe. And Henry, was a little hesitant before hearing Dalachinsky (and Giorno) because it is so fresh and I knew them both. But then I smiled.

Hello Ridgewood Radio Rascals - Stork here, prepping a fill-in program for Kenzo, coming up at 5 pm EST. I can't do the live mix thing like Ken does (who can?) - but I can pledge to you two hours of German language music, and nothing but the German language music. Hope you can horn in on the action. Great to hear Shelly Hirsch!!

I once was a sound installation opening my band played at, and while in line for the bathroom, I was talking shit about Lee Renaldo to my friend, and then I looked behind me was Lee and his sons (whoops)( I didn't say anything negative but it could be construed as such out of context).

One of the reasons I missed this show in the past weeks was seeing Glacial (Lee Ranaldo / Tony Buck / David Watson). A good show, not a great one: Buck was often drowned out. But maybe I was too focused on Watson, he is so rare around here (and I'm partial to bagpipes, at least his take on this instrument)
