A founding member of the 1980s band Bongwater, she starred in the ABC sitcom Anything but Love (1989–92). Her film appearances include The Hunger (1983), Making Mr. Right (1987), Clear and Present Danger (1994), Panic Room (2002), and One More Time (2015). Not easy EFD. Perhaps after I score a new stylus. Sparks (Halfnelson) pre-date Squeeze. Different animals, Sparks still going and still good, as much as I liked Squeeze at the time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24pm

rihgt, Sparks/Half Nelson were around before Squeeze; I think "Take Me I'm Yours" and "Tryouts For The Human Race" came out around the same time though.

New Pornos paying Sydney soonish. I should go, weirdly good. I've seen Neko Case - wow. So many songwriters in NP they always seem to end up with 4 melodies in every track. If they ever get it all together simultaneously they might be the best pop band ever (but they won't)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25pm
mariano:

Damn - just Googled Sparks out of curiosity. They go back to friggin' 1968? Different name, but still, been in the game since then. It's like when I found out that Andy Summers has been playing gigs since the 50s. He was in the Animals and Soft Machine briefly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm

Andy Summers was a Yardbird. Sparks up to about 25 albums, all good in their own way, some of the latest ones are the best. Lil Beethoven, Hello Young Lovers.
