hey h'lo h'lo

Top of the morning to you, dear Sinead! Looking forward to the show! Mxx
Colin in Durham, England:

I just got Kim Gordon’s book. Now I just have to remember how I ever had the patience to sit and read actual books

Best wishes from Missouri to the people voting in the UK today. I'm sure the outcome will be as British as possible, given the circumstances.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:09am

Awrite, way to get things going!
the Canterbury forest monk:

So nice to hear an Irish voice on WFMU! I just voted, was just looking up an Irish postcode for an Xmas card. How about some Undertones, Sinead?
Colin in Durham, England:

I saw Withered Hand in a Launderette on Sunday. I got there late and he stopped singing to compliment my T Shirt, I love him so much.

Guido from Cologne:

Cool Runnings:

Mornin' Sinéad listening from Morristown * Jerzy girrl is in the house

Really the coolest music in da house. Sinead how come we Germans do not know how to present better taste music on the radio? I will just have to make them listen to your show. Mxx
the Canterbury forest monk:

Actually, how about "Blues For Ceausescu" by Fatima Mansions, for our beloved Prime Minister?
Cliff back in the U.S.S.A.:

Good morning, just got out of work
Lofi Sheriff:

New Zealand is in the house.hey Sinead sounding fine as always.
hope the Brits have a new prime minister tomorrow!
Sad week in my country with a volcano blowing up with dreadful resuults.
the Canterbury forest monk:

Guido from Cologne:

"Cut": one of the best albums ever!

It was very interesting to read about the recording process (it took a long time consumed considerable money) in Viv Albertine's book. Without Dennis Bovel this album would not have seen the light of day.
Avatar 3:44am

Yay for the Slits! and thank you for playing their original songs, which are awesome, and not just playing "I Heard It Through the Grapevine"
Avatar 3:49am

Oayysis or Bloor?
Avatar 3:51am

Thank you Thank you Blur!
Avatar 3:54am

i cordially despise Oasis. Not just because the brothers are stupid, but (to me) their songs have no hooks -- the opposite of Blur
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57am

Blur all the way.
Cliff back in the U.S.S.A.:

Yeah Team Blur!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59am

Gallagher Shmallagher.

Blur vs Oasis? Blur no questions
Avatar 4:09am

I think we can all agree that Graham Coxon is a god and the Gallaghers are a couple of derivative eejits that should have quietly slithered off into the night years ago.
Lofi Sheriff:

Coxan is king

Such enchanting and skillful Irish music with a smart modern touch. What a gorgeous arrangement. Makes me want to go back to the green and pleasant lands. Mxx

Empowering, uplifting but yet earthening.

Invigorating I meant. I'll better shut up now and just listen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31am

I really liked the Lankum song too, it does something really interesting with traditional form.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32am

Damn, this Corridor rocks!

Great show as usual, Sinead. Blowing the cobwebs out of a crappy Scottish morning!
Cooh John:

Nice sounds. Wish I had tuned in earlier. My karate instructor was in Johnny and the Hurricanes. A coworker just told me about Orville Peck. 6 degrees of transmission.
Cooh John:

The Breeders-another Ohio band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:57am

Yeah, Ohio has some real heavy-hitters: Devo, Pere Ubu, Chrissie Hynde, the Deals, etc.
