Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Lesson: don't help nobody, never!
No, lesson is pay bleedin' attention. When an indecisive U-Haul was blocking the street, I reversed to back no more than a car-length around corner into street I'd just come off of. No traffic coming, but blind spot carelessness.
Harm beyond bungee-aid. Some prying and hammering might get the gate up to full vertical and then maybe it can be roped to stay up with injury. But it's destined for junkyard, I'm afraid, with near-perfect curved indent of telephone pole in top lip, and otherwise askew and buckled enough to force a decision to....put it down. Came back around the block shortly afterward to examine pole briefly; even without much velocity it was a good hit. Not bent or shattered at impact spot, but was that some opposite-side force damage to the wood I saw....?
A bendy little Santa was uncharacteristically riding on the cap's window/hatch handle in recent days, but he'd been removed today at loading time. He coulda been killed!
Thank you for listening (reading).
Here endeth the lament.

Tennessee Mambo is one of those songs -- and there are too many encountered here -- that I want to convince someone else, a friend, to learn so they can entertain me with it.
