I only saw him buying a local paper in islington near angel tube around 2006 and then a few hours later on the telly with primal scream on c4, I guess some tv studios were located there

based on what I remember and what I heard from finnish radio back then - the one hour John Peel had on our airwaves etc. - I did not like this sort of music back then. And now of course, I am a latecomer to the party and enjoy this. Better than late than never?

btw, regarding north london, how familiar you are with hornsey/muswell hill/crouch end? It is a beautiful area(if probably expensive&exclusive these days) and I remember being over the moon walking past the former church studios (Dave stewarts legendary place) and KONK (well, you know who, not the who!) being a local resident and a total studio nerd!
