Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm loveless:

Loving your choices of Christmas music, Mr. Sin.
  9:35pm JakeGould:

Clarence Carter would probably go 8 nights long if he did a Hanukkah song.
  9:37pm BH:

"When should we release our Christmas song?"
"February.. Christmas music performed really well in November and December, slight drop in January, but February"
"Shouldn't we wait until next December?"
"Look we've studied this, February is the release date"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39pm The Peanut Gallery:

we're not loaded.........yet!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39pm The Peanut Gallery:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41pm Richard S:

I'm just gonna throw this out here. If "Die Hard" is a Christmas movie, SO IS "THE THIN MAN (1934)".
  9:42pm Listener Robert:

IIRC, Dashiel Hammet's novel took place around the holidays.
  9:42pm JakeGould:

“L.A. Confidential” is a Christmas movie. youtu.be...
  9:43pm Listener Robert:

Either that, or Nick Charles just always drank like it was New Year's Eve.
Swag For Life Member 9:44pm Jinx:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm mariano:

Don't know about drunk Santa, but I just spoke with a really good friend of mine who told me that this Xmas was supposed to be the occasion of her boyfriend meeting her parents, and he went on a huge bender and managed to burn just about every bridge in sight.

  10:38pm Bluesman:

"Kiss Invented WFMU"

- Gene Simmons
Avatar 10:39pm David Shortell:

"Tommy" didn't really come out in 1968, did it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Tommy released May 1969 - recording started late 68...
  10:44pm JakeGould:

Gene Simmons get respect for walking out on Terry Gross.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:49pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Respect him for being upfront he wanted to put on a spectacle, schtoop a lot of chicks & make money - & being consistent.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:49pm The Peanut Gallery:

Hey rabbit, my bad... recorded in 68, came out in 69 my friend
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:51pm mariano:

Y'all know the Tom Snyder interview of Kiss where Ace was absolutely blitzed and really annoying Gene and Paul? It's really funny, Ace has a really contagious laugh.
  10:58pm El Garrito~:

'schtoop' Don't hear that word often, at least not in this century. Has a ring to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:58pm The Peanut Gallery:

yeah man the theme of this show
  11:00pm Peanut gallery:

What am I missing
  11:00pm kev:

Happy Boxing Day Eve!
  11:04pm jb:

bless me father for I have mike siined...
  11:10pm El Garrito~:

The merriment ain't done till ya got some joy. 'Joy' by harry nilsson & maybe 'Stone Soul X-mas' (Binky Griptite... ) jangles hearts. Still, in this century!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:13pm mariano:

Hmph. I was enjoying that!
  11:14pm JakeGould:

It’s schtup. As in “She has a nice tuchus. I would like to schtup her.”
  11:15pm Listener Robert:

Was I the only one listening to 90.1 who just got a test of WXM50, Howell Twp. NJ, for their NOAA all-hazards alert test?
  11:16pm El Garrito~:

EBS... you got to respect that at this hour.
  11:17pm El Garrito~:

Now where were we with 'schtoopin'?
  11:17pm Eddie:

How about Lonely Boy by Andrew Gold
  11:18pm vertual:

this is only a test! back to the rocknroll. it was also heard online
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:21pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Oh thx Jake.
Avatar 11:22pm David Shortell:

Sometime between Silverhead and Power Station, Michael Des Barres fronted Detective, who can be heard on the first season episode of "WKRP in Cincinnati" where Michael played the singer of the fictitious band Scum of the Earth.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26pm mariano:

Ohhh, this Uniques is gorgeous.
  11:26pm frida:

sin....you must fill in for sinner sometime...you have the experience...sinning is so much fun mike...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:27pm mariano:

This came out in 1980? Bet that's the re-release date.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28pm mariano:

Yep, 1969 according to the webs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:29pm The Peanut Gallery:

  11:29pm Chris Mas:

Aren’t we due for a Legal ID soon?
  11:31pm rocco:

I've heard people complaining about the Charlie Brown nativity scene....children accept things....adults are the problem as usual...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32pm The Peanut Gallery:

psh ADULTS ... who needs em
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32pm mariano:

All in a day's work... ;)
  11:32pm Chris Mas:

Rocco, couldn’t agree more
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:35pm mariano:

Who was complaining about the Charlie Brown nativity scene, religious people?
  11:37pm Adi:

Muscle of Love...album
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:37pm mariano:

Fairport! [hyperventilates]
Avatar 11:42pm David Shortell:

I remember "Chelsea Morning" as the Joni Mitchell record that Teri Garr's character played in "After Hours".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43pm The Peanut Gallery:

peanut gallery loves a surf interlude
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:46pm mariano:

Ohhh, After Hours! Such a good movie. I worked for a while in the building with the big fancy gates where Griffin Dunne winds up back at his work. Amazing how impossible that scenario would be nowadays: the whole thing results from him losing his $20 bill out the window of a taxi, and he's stranded in SoHo late at night, dark, empty streets.
  11:53pm El Garrito~:

There are worse places and improbable now but still great to see Hours on cable TV, back then whenever then was
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55pm mariano:

Might just have to watch it tonight, be a great way to close out Christmas.
  11:59pm El Garrito~:

Nice programme... with lots o' real vinyl. Thanx
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59pm mariano:

Thanks Mike, take care y'all, happy Holidays!
  12:01am Chris Mas:

Yes thanks mike and Christian for a wonderful 3 hours.. made my Holiday
