Hi Otis! Hi guys!

Kat in Chicago in the app:

Hello, Jan! I heard your show earlier. Sorry you have a fireworks problem there. My neighborhood is very bad on the Fourth of July.
Otis, I’m doing a four hour show tomorrow night! It’s the 20th anniversary of the radio show I’ve been doing for six years. We will have one of the original hosts in studio and maybe the other one on the phone (if I can figure out how to put a caller on the air!)
Avatar 2:19pm
Otis Fodder:

I wanna listen. Can you drop a link here in the chat for everyone (and I). Thanks Kat!!

We are flying by the seat of our pants for this show so I don’t know how good it will be! But those inclined can hear the stream starting (hopefully) at 8 pm CST at WLUW.org. I’m normally on at 10p.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:18pm
Kat in Chicago:

fred, I think knitting would be the easiest of those to pick up by far! lots of online help with that, plus if you have a local yarn store they will usually assist
  4:25pm

Im a knitter and sew... more into sewing. My grandmother taught me how to knit tho
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:25pm
Jan Turkenburg:

I've got a copy of Dreamies too. Wonderous. Never could find any further info on it

Martinibomb:

My wife is obscene knitter and I am constantly trying to find places to store her yarn plus she spins
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Ragnarök was used by the Dutch Ad Visser each week in his "Superclean Dreammachine", for incidental music. The show ran for years. I discovered lots of music through it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28pm
fred:

@Kat: My late mother was a knitting wizard, so I'd have unrealistic expectations to live up to. Also, I'd have cops called on me if I stepped into a knitting shop (though it gets better, my workplace has a knitting course open to males, though it did took a formal complain)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:30pm
Jan Turkenburg:

A lot of people like myself taped a lot of the shows. There's a site with an archive of digitzed cassettes:www.scdm.nl... Might be worth checking. A few of them are mine :-)

Speaking of obscene knitting, here's some absurdist Swedish yarn porn (not really porn): dangerousminds.net...
