It could be presented in a racist way, demeaning the culture it drew on but by and large it isn't, unlike, for instance The Black and White Minstrel Show. It could be accused of being a bit expoitative but it shows respect to the source influences. As for 'cultural appropriation'? Yeah, we should all stick to our own cultures and not allow any others to be influenced by them. NEVER!

It could be presented in a racist way, demeaning the culture it drew on but by and large it isn't, unlike, for instance The Black and White Minstrel Show. It could be accused of being a bit expoitative but it shows respect to the source influences. As for 'cultural appropriation'? Yeah, we should all stick to our own cultures and not allow any others to be influenced by them. NEVER!
