the translation for that Lavilliers song is : The wolf, the Raindeer and the Knight (A Sweet song)
you guys might have had trouble finding the precise translation because of some typos . It should be : Le loup, la biche et le chevalier (Une chanson douce)

wonderful show -- been listening but working away from computer . . .
@ Carmichael and @ Mr. Pumpy -- YES! RIGHT ON!
and, i think it is totally okay/"normal" to feel conflicted -- to borrow from an IG post: "It's possible to feel overwhelming sadness for Vanessa Bryant and her surviving children AND acknowledge Kobe Bryant as an iconic athlete AND believe victims/survivors of sexual violence. It's complicated. And that's ok."

always loved the sound of pedal steel -- i know i have seen other musicians with pedal steel guitar, but The Last Round-Up at Maxwell's (waaay back in the 80s) comes to mind :)
and yeah, complicated -- i mean, i never really liked R. Kelly in the first place but i LOVED "I Wish" -- what a tearjerker!
and film too -- Woody Allen, Roman Polanski . . .
. . . and OF COURSE as i am typing this, comes the realization that there are countless unsavory characters in the arts/entertainment world :(
