You and a guest are cordially invited to attend Morricone Island's annual Oscar Party. Black tie/formal attire required. Devon revisits highlights of the 2020 Best Original Score nominees -- Hildur Guðnadóttir ("Joker"), Alexandre Desplat ("Little Women"), Randy Newman ("Marriage Story"), Thomas Newman ("1917") and John Williams ("Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker") -- to help ensure an informed decision in the Best Score category of your own Oscar pool this year.

Morricone Island pays tribute to one of the Great American composers Henry Mancini (1924-1994), on what would have been the last day of his 100th birthday week. Mancini's prolific body of work includes scoring for nearly 250 films, over 20 TV themes and series and 85 record albums (mostly for RCA) receiving 4 Academy Awards, 20 Grammy Awards and 70 Grammy nominations.
