Love thee oh sees, great track. my ears perked up at the wooden shjips, I spent a lot of time listening tosome terrible recordings of them in 2010 while working long nights on weird artwork in oakland.

I’d like to think this is Bat For Lashes remixed by Lisa Lashes

Lot of good nights with crazy eastern europeans back in my east coast days with stella artois.

Man, jonathan richman. I miss east coast music sensibilities :)

They're sounding fine. One of the few american psychedelic bands I've seen with a lanky indian drummer who looked like he was in his right place holding down a perfect psychedelic beat. Fond memories of talking a girl I was sweet on into seeing their show, and she brought several friends, they were all out of their element, and I was torn between trying to lose myself in hearing the band and holding up my social end of the bargain. It was awkward but I think it went okay. Ah, memories. Glad we're all still around on the planet. And oddly, there weren't a lot of bands in a true psychedelic vein like them in oakland back then. Hope it's changed, but it felt like a real loss moving out to the west coast, and everything was just sick beats. I liked hearing a properly messy band play and just have fun losing themselves on stage.

Oh sheisse. Sorry for the double post, I had an internet dropout.

Hey Deizel, glad you're still alive, after our ethanol convo :)

hi all. 2nd listener from cologne just started to work.

Diezel Tea:

Haha, dan, yeah it's nothing special. Mixed it with some tea and also with some Georgian lemonade. It is just what it is, pure ethanol. Just always thought it'd be mixed with something to deter drinking it like they do in the west.

B/wad, how's the week off to? This was also a new week at work for me, and terrificly 100% remote. So, maybe I'll come down to Tel Aviv for a visit as I can work from anywhere and it's like a 3 hour flight.
  4:17am
Diezel Tea:

@David, I've given up on finding a CD player and am gonna cave and listen to the album via bandcamp. Very interested to hear what's in store!
  4:24am
dan vallejo:

Diezel, knocking around Tel Aviv just three hours away sounds like a fun time, seems like a grand part of the world, hope you get to see some good bands and have some good drunken times on high proof Georgian tea :)

Sinead, the Lankum track you played last week, 'young people', really sent me, I sent some embarrassingly sentimental letters to several old friends along with a link to hear it. Thanks for turning me and the rest of us onto them.

Diezel, sometimes one just has to go with what makes life easy. I really hope you like what you hear. How are things with you?

Heading to bed here, thanks to all and especially Sinead. I wrote down several new tracks to me tonight that I'm excited to go back to and hear again. Have fun in the sun, yall, on the day side of our planet :)

The first time I heard 'Moanin' I was in high school (1965) listening to one of my father's recording of it by jazz singer Ada Lee. I thought it was the coolest sound. Thanks for bringing memories!
