thanks for that awesome mix you made this morning Jan. I didn't know much about Radio Veronica. I'd kinda heard about it. But reading up on the history is interesting There's probably some documentary films about it too I suppose.
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 3:10pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Well, there is one of the specialists on Radio Veronica at the chatboard now ;)
  3:11pm
PJ Vink:

Just go to http://www.norderney.nl/ You can enjoy old Radio Veronica shows and much more at that website

Dave In St Albans UK:

@Martinibomb Many hours of Radio Veronica available online on Dutch and English websites. I have a few thousand hours that I have downloaded over the past two decades from the offshore era.
Avatar 🦝 Swag For Life Member 3:32pm
Jan Turkenburg:

The green of your eyes is greener than unboiled spinach. Very appropriate on Valentine's Day
  3:32pm
Dave In St Albans UK:

Love this show. Thanks for the links PJV. Hans Knot has produced so much offshore material!
  3:34pm
PJ Vink:

Yes, there still are people busy digitizing Radio Veronica shows. They are available at radio extra gold and radio 192 on the Internet
  3:46pm
PJ Vink:

For all non-Dutch listeners: I still look for Sonopresse Holland flexies that went abroad. So if you have any, please let me know. Thanks in advance
  3:47pm
Dave In St Albans UK:

Is there a national sound archive in the Netherlands that can archive this audio for posterity?
Avatar 3:48pm
Mod Mokka Matti:

Sometimes German bands are best left unknown. Now I have to call upon all those years of German study that I have not uses in ages.
  3:49pm
PJ Vink:

I am looking for possibilities for that. Some records are in archives, but only the Reclame Arsenal has some you can listen to. And beware, I have some 1700 potential records for such a project.
  3:52pm
Dave In St Albans UK:

Phew. A lot! I am always anxious that this material, in collectors hands only, can be permanently lost if it is merely thrown away when someone passes away!
  3:53pm
PJ Vink:

Big problem. I only have about 800 of Sonopresse Holland and 2200 others (also playable postcards).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm
Sem:

Wonderful radio. Thanks so much!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm

playable postcard? that must be similar to the back-of-the-breakfast-cereal-box records. cool. cool show, PJ Vink. thank you!
