I was way too timid to try to get backstage, but I figured the band would have to leave the venue eventually. So I hung out in the lobby until I was asked to leave. Then I stood out on the sidewalk in front of the club. I did not want to leave and go home.

"Hey, can you hold this for a minute?". So there I am on 17th St at 4:30AM, holding on to the Gang of Four's whisky bottle. My only regret is that I didn't take a sip.

I was way too timid to try to get backstage, but I figured the band would have to leave the venue eventually. So I hung out in the lobby until I was asked to leave. Then I stood out on the sidewalk in front of the club. I did not want to leave and go home.

"Hey, can you hold this for a minute?". So there I am on 17th St at 4:30AM, holding on to the Gang of Four's whisky bottle. My only regret is that I didn't take a sip.
