From the comments on the Hendon sketch (from Elitist20) : originally written for The Frost Report in 1967, where it was done by John Cleese (the interesting man) and Ronnie Corbett (the man from Hendon). Then it showed up in The Two Ronnies in the 70s, this time with Ronnie Corbett as the interesting man and Ronnie Barker as the man from Hendon.
