i got to meet the Globetrotters on their bus, post performance, in the mid-70s and snag some autographs on the poster i made for the game. i loved them. such a great memory. quite a thrill at the time. Curly Neal was super-nice.

That's like the General Pike Hotel in Phoenixville PA. We knew it was there, had a beautiful bar. The legend was its old lady owner would serve you as long as you'd not get loud and interrupt her TV shows. IF YOU DID, she'd pull out a 12 gauge and tell you to get out.
Now it's a CVS drug store. She died. But it was such a peaceful place in 1990...
