	3:37pm PJ: Hi Sheila - it would all depend on the contract between the artist and the promoter, but in all likelihood cancellation for coronavirus would trigger a force majeure clause, which means the artists are not paid (except maybe for expenses). This is regardless of whether or not or to what extent the promoter and the ticket agency refund the prices of tickets. So if you do not ask for a refund (assuming the show is not postponed), the promoter and ticket agency will just keep the money and it will not go to the artist. If the show is postponed, of course, the terms of the artist's contract will remain in effect and they will be paid eventually, assuming the show goes forward.

	3:37pm PJ: Hi Sheila - it would all depend on the contract between the artist and the promoter, but in all likelihood cancellation for coronavirus would trigger a force majeure clause, which means the artists are not paid (except maybe for expenses). This is regardless of whether or not or to what extent the promoter and the ticket agency refund the prices of tickets. So if you do not ask for a refund (assuming the show is not postponed), the promoter and ticket agency will just keep the money and it will not go to the artist. If the show is postponed, of course, the terms of the artist's contract will remain in effect and they will be paid eventually, assuming the show goes forward.
