Spent yesterday planting trees, mainly hawthorns, in the village. It was a volunteer group who happen to pick where I live. Ofcourse planting is for the future, so I doubt if I will see the full benefits.

This past Thursday they were training 3 new staffers to deal with increase in traffic for Spring. Come in on Saturday? All 3 were let go, seating is at 50% capacity due to NYC health department guidelines and even at that they were barely full yesterday…
