I'll be "vacationing from home" for a few days starting tomorrow. I took days off for the Sonic Protest festival, which was canceled a few days in. They lose money most years, this probably will be a fatal blow

WFMU is a big, breezy house with many nooks and crannies. Give the Drummer Radio occupies a spacious attic floor with grand views of ice-capped peaks and steamy rain forests. I hope you like it, 'cause it was a bitch hauling the naugahyde love seat up the stairs.

Restaurants are still allowed to do take out including cocktails but I don't know if you can leave tips for the waitstaff who are mostly at home. At least you can tip the delivery driver or leave a little extra on the counter if you pick up. SO MANY of our pals rely on tips.

Got moved to a different area inn my building, lower level. Had some radio reception before. Internet blocked for "entertainment" (FMU-entertainment? C'mon), so I had 3 rooms needing music, used FM for 2 I didn't sit in alone often, WBGO/jazz on there (inoffensive, other people there generally), used phone as Bluetooth tether to an iPad to listen to FMU where I could listen most. Now I'm kind of stuck on what to do (still streaming in my main space).
