They need to enforce a shutdown of schools, force personal grooming businesses — salons, mani-pedi places, barber shops and such — to close, and that’s that for at least month. You tell people to not touch faces and wash hands and those places are still open?
Anyway, I am set at home for now. Remember folks: Don’t panic!
And unless someone in your building is sick, go outside and sit there to enjoy the day. Take a reasonable walk. Because going stir crazy can be worse that you think.

Today… It was so quiet and calm… I don’t even remember any time in my life where I felt that calm in midtown. The level of casual jaywalking was next level. No fear of being hit. Bryant Park had people but everyone was chill. So weird and cool and weird.
