YES! Perfect choosing Dan Hicks, Ira! Love this song so much. Striking it Rich was the first album of his I discovered right out of high school. Reminds me, I still owe you that WFMU session he did for me back in 2005. Maybe while I’m forced to stay home I'll dig it up for you.

Hi Ira!
I'm a fan of yours and I'm happy to hear from you - and good music- on the radio. It's not frequent (I have to admit that it is the first time)! I was at the Cabaret Sauvage with my daughter Sara two years ago. What a show! I loved that crazy second part of the performance even if the first one was very good, nice and cool.
Hope to hear you again very soon.
In Paris we try to not loose our minds - we can't quit our apartments and the days are so strange . The world doesn't seem to turn very round. But I hope better days for all of us.
All the best,

@IreneTrudel: I explored Manhattan over the weekend and went specifically to Times Square, Midtown and Bryant Park on Sunday. Deader than dead. So quiet and calm. Literally peaceful and I never thought I would experience it being peaceful in Midtown ever.

And on 42nd Street next to Bryant Park an older woman pushing a shopping cart needed some help with directions to the 1 train. I pointed to Time Square. Traffic (foot and cars) was dead.

Then when she walked away it dawned on me how crazy it was to see a real human doing basic domestic errands in the middle of midtown.
