I do draw and paint very well, BUT, being the struggling working-class morlock that I am, I spent most of my time, for a long time, grinding through whatever, at newspapers, the CBC, a couple of animation studios...none of which turned my crank. It bored me once I got 'good'. I live 'inviisibly' while entertaining theories about communication, language, signs and signal reception, anthroplogy, propaganda, miscommunication, narcissism, sociopathy, the future....I'm an island. There was a lot of violence in my childhood that seems to have increasingly compelled me to hide in plain sight. Plus, once mature, and psychoanalysed a little, I felt that I was beholden to no one (save my partner), so I suppose it motivated me to move beyond drawing, and the expectations of others (who are all too frequently very nasty), I try to keep moving, to live, like a shark. And I remain invisible...all indicators to the contrary. :)
