FWIW, I used to live on Union Street between 7th and 8th. Just before the “lawyers” as my Italian landlady started to move into the neighborhood moved in. My rent was cheap even for back then. Like another planet.

@Doug-the crack house was literally next door...it was always a joy having our toddler discover a used syringe/needle on the sidewalk (of course, eventually it was "emptied", renovated, and became coops).
