When I worked with a couple of British guys in the mid 80s, one of them was listening to radio on his Walkman and suddenly rushed over to the other guy saying "LISTEN TO THIS!" It was Nelly the Elephant - a song they both knew from their childhoods and were highly amused by as a punk song.
  3:48pm

"Nelly" was a #1 hit in the UK. Just imagine such a thing inthe US.

Ell-o Suuuzy, I've been listening to fmu for decades. and I've just discovered you for the first time three shows ago. then I saw your documentary, and I've got to say I find you to be very interesting after watching your documentary. I like a success story where someone makes lemonade out of a lemon's and finds their niche in life. you've been a genuine inspiration.

I watched your documentary the other week, top shelf. Question: where can I purchase your Roller Derby poster ? I looked on the artist Jay Vollmar’s website with no luck. Actually, are they for sale ?

testingwithfire:

I did not know there was a Suzy documentary? How am I supposed to get anything done with all this great stuff to watch?
  4:03pm
Larry O:

Take a scissors and cut off the tag. It’s not required by law once you’ve purchased it
  4:03pm
P-90:

@Ms. Hotrod: Have you tried snipping the abrasive tag out of the underwear before doing sit-ups?
  4:04pm
testingwithfire:

Situps are bad for your back... I use a TRX suspension trainer for core training. Love it. And they SHOULD pay me for pushing their product but so far they aren't.

The tag-burn: That's the point where you contact the floor; there's gonna be wear and tear, tag or no tag. Been there. Used to run a lot and do sit-ups, stretches etc....long ago

P-90:

Thanks @Ruth!

One of the Wfmu dj’s from decades ago lied about having been on BCN. I know, because I was in Boston when he claimed to have a show.

Now FMU has more status than BCN

Jay Volmor artwork (who is the guy who did the main photo on my playlist) He's online, I don't know if he has anymore Hotrod posters but this is him: jayvollmar.com... As for butt burn, I actually do think its not tag related, i think its just fabric burn in general, what a life.
